Zahra Fithriyah Muna is passionate and deeply interested in animation, illustration, and design. She has won numerous prestigious national animation competitions in Indonesia and has worked on many design projects.

Zahra is currently pursuing a master’s in Design and Production at the Victorian College of the Arts, The University of Melbourne. Prior to this, She graduated as an outstanding and fastest graduate from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), with a Bachelor of Design. Zahra and her twin sister set a new record in ITS by completing a bachelor of design degree in just 3.5 years and became an open door for the juniors to graduate in less than 4 years.

Her passion for narrative drawing and storytelling allows her to explore various styles and techniques. She aims to create beneficial, inspiring, and knowledgeable artworks that positively impact society and the environment.

The First Fastest Bachelor of Design Graduate

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya | February 2023

My twins and I are the fastest graduates in the history of the visual communication design department and across three design programs at ITS. We made a new record and broke the stereotype in ITS as well as the 3 Design majors by successfully becoming the first fastest to complete a Bachelor of Design within 3.5 years out of 4 years. In addition, I also gave a speech during my graduation as an outstanding student.

1st Place in Animakini (National Animation Competition)

Held by the Indonesian Agency for the Creative Economy (BEKRAF) and Institute of Art Jakarta (IKJ) | November 2021

The Animation title is "Kumbang". It is about saving the forests of Indonesia, introducing numerous kinds of Indonesian plants, and encouraging the audience to make innovations for Indonesia. A team of 2 people created this Animation: my twin and me.

Held by the Indonesian Agency for the Creative Economy (BEKRAF) and Institute of Art Jakarta (IKJ) | November 2021

The Animation title is "Berkah Tanah Pertiwi" (Blessing of Motherland). It's about preserving Indonesian spices and promoting Indonesian culture for the young generation. This Animation was made by a team of 3 people, including me.

ITB Jalan Jalan is an annual event by ITB (Institut Teknologi Bandung) student associations from Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Gresik. The competition was to draw creatively a narrative drawing based on the brief within 90 minutes, a still life drawing approximately within 60 minutes, and a wartegg drawing completion test around 15 minutes.
