Ancient Lives Exhibition
Interactive Wayfinding
Zahra created the wayfinding design with a concept that aims to navigate the best routes and communicate the character of the exhibition. It focuses on creating engaging and interactive signage that features a strong visual identity and provides clear information to guide visitors effectively, fostering a welcoming and festive atmosphere.
The design was developed through extensive research, which included 5 hours of mapping trails to identify optimal locations for wayfinding and effective routes for guiding various types of visitors. Key insights were also gathered by conducting interviews with stakeholders to understand the challenges and experiences faced by visitors. Additionally, the design incorporates augmented reality (AR) elements that allow users to access navigation through 3D animated designs featuring a jug, pattern, and arrow. The design is inspired by the ancient goods displayed within the exhibition.
The AR is beneficial for engaging the visitors and interesting way to interact.
